Courier Prices are on the rise with gas increases
Orders take 2-4 business days to process, which does not include shipping.
Shipping typically occurs once weekly, normally on Thursdays, so there may be a short holding period until then. Packages ordered on the weekend will begin processing the next business day, Monday.
Please note that the transit times listed are provided by the shipping companies and are not guaranteed. Shipping surcharges may apply for rural or hard to reach addresses, or overweight or oversize orders.
Shipping does not include a signature. It can be arranged with most couriers, but it will incur an additional cost.
Holiday order times begin by mid-November, and times may vary depending on our volume, but we do our best to keep to the 4 day time frame maximium for processing.
Orders over $125 have free regular service shipping within the Toronto GTA area and some suburbs. Curbside pickup is also available!
In person pickups still follow the 2-4 business day processing protocol. Items require personal attention and careful protection, and we want to get your order right!
LOCAL SAME DAY WARM WEATHER DELIVERY is encouraged from June to September to avoid temperature damage. This is an additional charge.
Please note that Gustologia is not responsible for wrong shipping addresses or invalid addresses. Any returned items due to the wrong address being provided will be charged appropriately. We may reach out should an address be flagged as an issue. Orders may be delayed in this case.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
FOR USA CUSTOMERS - Shipping rates vary depending on distance and speed, and are not guaranteed. We will reach out if needed for any additional fees during this time.
If American customers wish to choose the fastest shiping time from Canada Post, 'Xpresspost' is the only option available. Otherwise 'Expedited' is a standard speed.
Be advised that tarrifs to USA customers will apply, and may be added on accordingly and they will be the responsibility of the receiver. Postal transit times may be increased due to extra customs work. We are not responsible for any customs charges and delays that may ensue when shipping outside of Canada.
For other international shipping, please contact us at info@gustologia.ca. While we can assist to ship to countries other than Canada or USA, there are no guarantees that all food items will be accepted due to their very nature, and strict watch over importing foods, even shelf stable ones.

Gustologia WARM WEATHER SHIPPING in ANY MONTHS
Warm weather is chocolate’s or any packaged food's worst enemy, and we want to ensure you are receiving your items in the best condition possible.
During the summer, we highly encourage shipping your chocolate to an address where someone will be able to receive the order immediately when it is out for delivery to avoid the chocolate melting if it is left curbside.
Kindly be advised that no orders will be shipped during a heat wave, high humidity or temps above 24 degrees C. Please allow additional time, and be patient!
Despite the special care taken in packaging our parcels, temperatures above 24°C (72° F) can cause significant degradation of chocolate or other meltable items. We will include an ice pack to offset warm temperatures (which may incur an extra cost), and therefore shipping will be slightly more expensive, also depending on weight.
We strongly advise on chosing XpressPost for any USA shipments in the summer months.
Please note that we are not responsible for products damaged by heat in shipment, and in this case refunds will not be given.
We offer same day (in Ontario), and two days options available during warm weather periods.

Covid 19 SHIPPING DELAYS
Our shipping partners did experience various delays related to the Covid 19 pandemic. Although we actively monitor any delays, and we do our best to meet necessary delivery dates, but we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. If you order has a firm delivery date, please contact our customer service at info@gustologia.ca to discuss options to ensure we meet your needs.

Return and Refund Policy SHIPPING DAMAGES or LOSS
Should you experience any damage, please take images of the damaged chocolate (packaging and chocolate) and email us at info@gustologia.ca and we will assess the situation. A replacement or refund request must be emailed within 48 hours of delivery.
We insure all boxes in case of damage or loss, but note that Canada Post and other couriers may only cover $100 CAD worth of product in their fees. If you wish to fully cover all your purchases, please inquire about your shipping options.
