Peru Ucayali - NEW!
This extraordinary bean to bar chocolate is a new project from Banchini and features a mono origin bean gathered from the area of the river Ucayali. Previously this area was full of crime and drug ridden and now it has been regenerated to cultivate these trees.
The fair trade chocolate is lush, full bodied and slightly acidic, but smooth, with notes of jasmine, passion fruit and cinnamon. The front has a gorgeous shine, with multi-faceted ridges to break into pieces.
It is also AWARD WINNING, and it has garnered a Bronze prize from the prestigious International Chocolate Awards!
